MARGAO: Dunes SC Mandrem narrowly defeated Guirdolim Club 1-0 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Late Fr. Gervasio Pinto Memorial Football Tournament, held at the Figureido Ground in Pontemol, Curchorem, on Saturday.
The crucial goal was scored by Alberto Britto in the 17th minute. Custodio Fernandes, a member of the GFA Executive Committee, presented the Man of the Match award to Alberto Britto of Dunes SC Mandrem.
