The second edition of the GCCI Alliance Cup cricket tournament will be held on April 21 at Panaji Gymkhana ground from 9 am.
Speaking at the unveiling of team jerseys and trophies, at GCCI Panaji, Rajesh Dempo, GCCI Managing Committee Member & GCCI captain, said that teams from Goa Police, VIA, GCCI, GSIA, TTAG & a Combined Bankers team is participating this year's edition. "Cricket is a binding factor & GCCI has been organising this tournament to build camaraderie between Industry, Trade & Commerce," he added.
Sanjay Amonkar, GCCI Director General informed that the teams will be divided in two groups of three teams each & group winners will play the final. The age limit is 35 years & above. It is a six over tennis cricket tournament.
The inauguration of the GCCI Alliance Cup will take place at 9 am & the first match will start from 9:15 am. The finals are slated for 5:15 pm followed by prize distribution.
