Indian cricket fans worldwide celebrated the team's remarkable victory in the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday in Dubai, as they defeated New Zealand by four wickets to claim the title. The win capped off an undefeated run throughout the tournament.
Hemant Angle, former Goa Ranji player and coach, expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance. "Not surprised. We have played good, consistent cricket throughout the tournament and are the only unbeaten team. Congratulations to all the players, coach Gambhir, and his support staff," he said.
Sudesh Prabhudessai praised India's overall strength, stating, "India are formidable “ they have got all bases covered in all conditions. This experience could see them go on to dominate now. It is an experience that will serve them very well."
