A total of 25 sportspersons from Calangute, Siolim and Saligao constituency who had secured medals in the concluded 37th National Games were felicitated by Michael Lobo-Calangute Constituency and Delilah Lobo MLA-Siolim Constituency in Baga.
Sarpanch and ward members of Calangute, Siolim and Saligao Constituency were also present.
Both the MLA's while speaking at the gathering congratulated the winners for their hard work and dedication by securing medals in their respective disciplines and thus bringing honour to the State .
The recepiants were awarded memento, certificate and cash prize from the hands of the dignitaries. Bruno Coutinho-Director of Coaching SAG/Arjuna awardee and head coach of Beach Football that had secured Silver medal in the 37th National Games proposed the vote of thanks while Anthony Fernandes compered the function.
