Sawreshwar Sports Club lifted the VPK Football Premier League title after edging past Gajanan Sports Club 1-0 in the final played at Azad Maidan, Mardol.
The decisive goal came in the first half, when Srutikesh Jalmi struck what proved to be the match-winner, sealing a hard-fought victory for Sawreshwar SC.
Sawreshwar SC received a cash prize of ₹20,000 along with the trophy, while runners-up Gajanan SC were awarded ₹10,000 and a trophy. Semi-finalists Mahalsa FC and FC Aditya received ₹5,000 each along with trophies.
Individual awards were presented to Anish Borkar (Mahalsa FC) as Best Player of the Tournament, Darpan Borkar (Om Gajanan FC) as Best Defender, Raunak Gaude (Sawreshwar SC) as Best Goalkeeper, and Srutikesh Jalmi (Sawreshwar SC) as First Scorer of the Final.
The prizes were distributed by chief guest former sports minister Govind Gaude, footballer Mandar Rao Desai, Adv Varad Mardolkar and DySP Manoj Mardolkar, in the presence of other dignitaries.
