Sporting Club of Davorlim blanked Betalbatim Sports Club 2-0 to move to the quarter-finals of the all Goa inter-village football tournament, organised by United Club of Utorda, at SAG ground, Utorda.
Brenson Fernandes of Betalbatim had a good shot in the 10th minute but the Davorlim goalkeeper was equal to the task.
Post-resumption Davorlim took the lead through Milton Colaco's a free-kick who later doubled the tally later on with a fine placement shot.
Sanju Trikonni of Sporting Club of Davorlim was awarded the man of the match by Brian Soares in presence of chief guest Raymond Azavedo.
