MARGAO: Ugem Rising Club secured a spot in the final of the Ugem Rising Club Football Tournament by defeating St. Anthony SC Assolda 2-1 at Ugem Ground on Tuesday.

St. Anthony SC Assolda took the lead with a goal from Velentino Carvalho in the 45th minute. However, Ugem Rising Club responded swiftly, scoring two quick goals with Jester Carvalho finding the net in the 46th minute, followed by Rutik Bandodkar's strike in the 48th minute.

Rutik Bandodkar was awarded the Man of the Match trophy by Luis Carvalho, a former player of Ugem Rising Club.

MARGAO: Fr. Agnelo YSC Paroda secured a 2-0 victory over Varca Sports Club to advance to the quarterfinals of the All Goa Navelim Villagers Trophy, organized by the Navelim Villagers Union at the Rosary Church ground on Tuesday.Kanchan Keiro opened the scoring with a well-placed shot in the 40th minute, while Regan Costa extended the lead in the 53rd minute. The score remained 2-0 until the final whistle. Kanchan Keiro was named Man of the Match by Agnelo Estebeiro.
