United Club of Ambaulim secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the UCT Trophy Inter-Village Football Tournament, organized by United Club of Telaulim and held at the Government Village School ground. They defeated Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda with a 2-0 victory.
In the first half, Ambaulim led 1-0, with the opening goal scored by Sowell Fernandes. They added a second goal in the 50th minute, thanks to Hyldon Fernandes.
Lorry Dias presented the Man of the Match award to Joel Barretto of United Boys of Ambaulim.
