Varca Veterans blanked Orlim Veterans 2-0 to advance into the finals of the late Saude Mendes Memorial Veterans Football Tournament at Carmona Ground. In a one-sided match, Varca dominated the proceedings and scored in the first half through Francis' power-packed shot in the 9th minute. In the second half, Varca scored their second goal through Francis to march into the finals where they will meet winners of United Club of Seraulim and Colva Veterans on Sunday. Darryl Gomes of Orlim Veterans was awarded man of the match.
