MARGAO: Wilred Leisure SC Curtorim edged past Canacona S&CC 2“1 in an exciting pre-quarterfinal match of the All Goa Inter-Village Football Tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim in memory of late Rev Fr. Joe Gomes. The match was played at the Seraulim Church Ground.
Curtorim took the lead through Anslem Fernandes and later added a second goal capitalising on a defensive error by the Canacona goalkeeper. Canacona S&CC pulled one back through Brenon Rodrigues, but Curtorim held firm to seal the win.
