MARGAO: Hosts Fr Agnelo Sports and Cultural Club, Paroda advanced to the semifinals after edging out Raia Sporting Club 5–4 in a tie-breaker at the Panchayat ground, Avedem.
Organised by the Fr. Agnelo Sports and Cultural Club, the match witnessed high-quality football from both sides, with disciplined defending keeping the scores level at the end of regulation time.
With neither team able to break the deadlock, the contest was decided on penalties.
Paroda converted all five attempts through Kanchan Kiro, Ryan Menezes, Fredrich Fernandes, Livan Clemente and Ravil Fernandes, while Raia netted four, falling just short.
