MARGAO: The Goa Veterans 50-plus football team is gearing up to participate in the 4th South Asia Veteran Football Tournament 2026, scheduled to be held at Kannur on January 30 and 31.
The team will be led by Manager Manoj Keni and Coach Luis Vas, and is expected to face stiff competition from teams representing Malaysia, Chennai, Kerala, among others.
The Goa squad comprises Jorose Oliveira, Rupesh Kamat, Rupesh More, Remy Colaco, Vitorin Colaco, Ramesh Virnodkar, Melwin Fernandes, Raymond D'Souza, Micky Fernandes, Niclao Colaco, Francis Andrade, Domnic Noronha, Santan Colaco, Caitano Dias, Succoro Azevedo, Manoj Kesarkar, Vincent Colaco, Mario Mascarenhas, Edith Fernandes, Moises Pereira, Franky Mendoza, Jhony Vaz, Francisco (Pele) Fernandes, Patric Colaco and Mingle D'Souza.
