Prakash Khatri, formerly associated with Compassion FC and currently serving with the AIFF/FIFA Boys U-14 Residential Academy, Hyderabad, has successfully earned the prestigious AFC ‘A’ License Diploma, one of the highest coaching qualifications in Asian football.
The final results of the course were officially declared on Tuesday, marking a significant milestone in Khatri’s coaching career and further strengthening his contribution to youth and elite football development in India.
The AFC ‘A’ License Diploma course was conducted in three intensive modules between July and December 2025 at the Cooperage Football Ground, Mumbai. A total of 24 coach candidates enrolled for the program, of whom only eight coaches met all the stringent requirements to be awarded the diploma, highlighting the high standards and rigorous nature of the course.
The program was conducted under the guidance of experienced coach educators, with Jeddy Almeida serving as Lead Coach Educator (AFC ‘A’), Vivek Nagul, Head of Coach Development, and Shakti Chauhan, AFC ‘A’ Coach Educator from Gujarat, assisting as the lead educator.
Khatri’s achievement reflects his commitment to continuous professional development and his dedication to nurturing young football talent. The success is a proud moment for Compassion FC, the AIFF/FIFA Academy structure, and the wider Indian football fraternity.
