Defender Brian Faria from FC Goa developmental side, midfielder Desmond Gama from Vasco Sports Club and defender Doyal Alves of Guardian Angel Sports Club have signed for Corbett FC, Uttarakhand ahead of I-League Qualifiers 2021.
Brian was a member of the Young Gaurs who enjoyed an unbeaten Durand Cup tournament with victories against Chennai City FC and Army Green. The team triumphed in their maiden Police Cup attempt, defeating Sporting Clube de Goa 6-5 in a penalty shootout. He also participated in the I-League Second Division and was also a member of the Gaurs team that won the Goa Professional League title.
Loutolim-born Doyal represented the FC Goa reserves for three years and played in the I-League Second Division campaign. He also played in the Under-18 I-League and represented Goa in the Junior Nationals. He moved to Guardian Angel Sports Club and played in the Goa Professional League. Desmond played for Vasco in the Goa Professional League this year.
The I-League Qualifiers will kick off at the Bangalore Football Stadium in Bengaluru on October 4.
