Guirdolim Club blanked Carmona SC 3-0 in the final of the 32nd St Rock Super Soccer Calata Majorda in memory of Sebastiao Ciyril Dias, organised by St Rock's Youth Club Calata-Majorda, at St Rock's Youth Club ground, on Sunday.
Guirdolim Club opened the floodgates through Moses D'Sa in the 17th minute. As the match progressed, in the second half, Carmona's Christburn Estebeiro missed a chance to score in the 50th minute. Guirdolim Club further inflated the lead through Moses D'Sa in the 55th minute. It was again Moses D'Sa of Guirdolim club who netted his hat-trick in the 66th minute.
Vice-president of Goa Football Association North Goa Jonathan D'Souza was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Nelly Rodrigues, ex-ZP member, Walter Cabral, Principal of Fr Basilio Andrade HS Majorda, Oscar Gonsalves, Anthony Pango senior vice-president of GFA South Goa, Andrew Ferrao, GFA executive committee member and other dignitaries.
