MARGAO: Loyola High School, Margao registered a hard-fought 2–1 win over Vintage 73 in an intense TSH Goa Cup 2026 clash on Friday.
Loyola made a bright start, taking the lead in the 7th minute when Nathan calmly finished to put his side ahead. Vintage 73 responded well and restored parity in the 17th minute through Rhythm, who converted to make it 1–1.
Loyola, however, regained the lead quickly as Caleb struck in the 21st minute to make it 2–1. Both sides created further chances before halftime, but Loyola went into the break with a slender advantage.
The second half turned into a closely contested tactical battle, with both teams showing strong defensive organisation. Vintage 73 pushed hard for an equaliser, but Loyola’s defence stood firm to protect their lead and secure all three points.
Aston Braganza of Loyola High School was named Man of the Match for his impressive performance. The award was presented by Vintage 73 coach Shubham Shetgaonkar.
