PANAJI: The State Judo Championship 2026 for Sub-Junior, Cadet, and Senior categories was successfully organized by the Bandora Judo Club in association with the Madhavrao Dhavlikar Charitable Trust, recently, at the Bandora Youth Hall, Ponda.
Varun Gupta delivered an impressive performance to secure the Silver Medal in the 90+ kg weight category. Adding to the medal tally, Pranjal Kundaikar clinched the Bronze Medal in the 90 kg weight category after a strong display of skill and determination.
The team was guided by Rahul Naik, Instructor in Physical Education, under the guidance of Dr. Michael Dias, College Director of Physical Education.
The medal winners were felicitated in the presence of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kamat, who congratulated Varun Gupta & Pranjal Kundaikar for their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports alongside academics.
