MARGAO: United Boys of Ambaulim stormed into the quarterfinals of the 2nd edition of the Vauradeancho Ixtt Trophy with a convincing 3–0 victory over SC Davorlim at the DSYA Ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
The tournament is organised by Margao SC in association with United Club of Batora. Julius Carvalho starred for United Boys, scoring twice in the 3rd and 35th minutes, while Sowell Fernandes added the third goal in the 42nd minute.
Julius Carvalho was named Man of the Match, with the award presented by Shailesh Prabhu in the presence of Piedade Hilario.
