Host team Varca Sports Club secured a 2-0 victory over Davorlim in an intense encounter, thanks to a strong attacking display at their home ground.
Varca took an early lead in the 11th minute when Chris Mendonça found the back of the net. Clayton Luís came close to extending the lead soon after, but his shot narrowly missed. Davorlim’s defender Darwin stood firm throughout the first half, denying further goals, and the teams went into the break with Varca leading 1-0.
In the second half, Davorlim tried to mount a comeback, but Varca struck on the counter. Clayton Luís scored to make it 2-0, and later earned a penalty after his shot was blocked, which he successfully converted in the 48th minute, sealing the win for Varca.
