Yuvaan Sanke, seeded fifth, continued his fine run by overcoming Kaushik Nair 3-0 in the semis after a hard-fought 3-1 win over Ishaan Colaso in the quarters.
Vedant Wagle further stamped his dominance in the U15 category as he once again stunned top-seed Ruhaan Shaikh 3-1 in the semifinals, after earlier defeating Yuvaan Sanke 3-0 in the quarters. He will now face Dhruva Kamat in the finals, who made his way past Kavish Dalvi with a clean 3-0 victory.
Vedant’s remarkable feat of toppling top seed Ruhaan, another rising paddler, in both categories has now placed him on the brink of a prestigious double crown. Meanwhile, Yuvaan Sanke’s maiden final appearance along with few more notable wins this season highlights his rapid rise and consistency, marking him as another bright talent to watch out for in Goa’s table tennis circuit.
