Vedanta now 'Best Practitioner in Developing Top Leaders'

Mining giant Vedanta Resources Plc on Monday bagged an award for the 'Best Practices in Developing Top Leaders' at the ‘Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia Seminar and Awards 2015’, organised by leading Asian HR Forum L&OD Roundtable, at Mumbai.

Vedanta, who recently resumed ops in the Codli mines was recognized as the winner, for the tremendous contribution of the company’s ‘Leaders Connect Team’.

Vedanta was also declared the first runners-up in two other categories, ‘Best Practices for Developing Future Leaders’ and ‘Best Practices for Developing New Leaders’, for the company’s innovative programmes and focus in empowering a talented team. The awards were received by Roma Balwani, President - Group Sustainability, CSR and Communications, Manmeet Singh, Manager “ Human Resources and Bhoomi Bhatt, Associate Manager “ Human Resources on behalf of the organization.
