The team is focused on trying to develop the potential ofthe young boys in Nuvem and sustaining its presence in the third division. Theteam participates in the under14 tournament organized by the GFA. The team hasmade the occasional impression in the league. Consistency has been a problem.This coupled with the inability to maintain a constant squad has made it abattle ever year. The management howeverhopes that the under 14 team will be able to stay together and help develop astrong team in the future. The club has unearthed players like Dominic Naronha,John Dias, Agnelo who has gone on to play in the professional league. Some ofthe top teams like Air India have benefited from the players who have startedplaying with this club.
The Driving Force
The club was established in 1989 by Fr Luis Pinto with the intention of motivating the youth totake up sports and enjoy the benefits of a healthy life. The team was createdto create a push in the parish towards sporting activities. It was also startedwith the intention of providing focus and helping the young boys stay on thestraight and narrow. The management takes a special interest in providingadvice to the young team to help them understand the challenges they can faceon the football field and in life.
