The Sunni Jaamat Ul Muslameen Jamia Masjid, Malbhat Margao has decided to change the route of the traditional procession (Julus) taken out in the city on the occasion of Eid E Miladun Nabi on December 24, keeping in mind the rush of Christmas shoppers in the commercial capital.
General secretary Atik Banducda said the traditional procession will be taken out by the Muslim brethren from Salcete under the supervision of Jamia Masjid, Margao.
The procession will start from Jamia Masjid to Hari Mandir Road, Royal Food, Caro Corner, Municipal square, garden, GVN to Metropole, Old Collectorate, Kamat Hotel and back to the Masjid.
Atik has appealed to the Muslim brethren taking part in the procession to take note of the changes in the procession route.
