Bal Bhavan Panaji in order to Promote and encourage the Creative Art talent of children of Goa has organise All Goa Greeting Card Design Contest on Wednesday July 30 from 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at all 12 Talukas.
The contest will be held in two Groups : GROUP A - Std V – VII & GROUP B - Std VIII - X (Each School can send 10 participants (5 in each group).
The contest will be conducted at Taluka Level, at following centers is as mentioned below:
Tiswadi- Bal Bhavan , Campal, Opp. Parade Ground, Panaji- Goa, Mormugao – Govt. School, Bogda Vasco – Goa, Bardez - Saraswat Vidyalaya Khorlim, Mapusa , Ponda - Govt. High school, Sadar, Ponda – Goa, Pernem - Viscount High School, Pernem, Bicholim - Shantadurga High School, Bicholim – Goa, Sattari - Hanuman Vidyalaya Valpoi- Goa, Dharbandoda - Gomantak Vidyalaya, Pilyem, Dharbandora, Quepem - Sarvodaya High School, Curchorem – Goa, Canacona - Mallikarjun High School, Canacona – Goa, Sanguem - Union High School, Sanguem – Goa & Salcete - Loyala High School, Margao - Goa.
The contest is Annual feature of Bal Bhavan Goa, which gives children a platform to perform their talent and creativity. The theme of the Greeting card contest will be attractive designs, Goan landscape, creative work, floral design & design for Diwali and Christmas.
The selected art works of children shall be printed into greeting cards.
The prizes shall be taluka level: Group A: Std : V to VII - : 1st prize Rs.1000/-,
2nd prize: Rs. 800/- 3rd prize – Rs. 500/- & 2 consolation prizes of Rs. 300/- each.
Group B: Std: VIII to X: 1st prize Rs.1200/-, 2nd prize : Rs. 1000/- , 3rd prize – Rs 800/- & 2 consolation prizes of Rs. 500/- each.
State level: Group A: Std: V to VII - : 1st prize Rs.2000/-, 2nd prize: Rs.1500/-
3rd prize – Rs 1000/- & 2 consolation prizes of Rs. 500/- each.
Group B: Std: VIII to X -: 1st prize Rs. 2500/-, 2nd prize : Rs. 2000/- 3rd prize – Rs 1500/- & 2 consolation prizes of Rs. 1000/- each.
