PANAJI: Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Exter Knight, a black-themed edition of its compact SUV, with prices starting at Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in HX 6 and HX 10 variants, the Knight gets a range of styling updates aimed at giving the Exter a sportier appearance.
The exterior features matte-black Hyundai and Exter badges, dark-grey bumper and side-sill garnishes, R15 black alloy wheels and red front brake callipers. The cabin follows the same theme with an all-black treatment, brass accents, black semi-fabric upholstery and amber footwell lighting.Power comes from the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine, offered with a five-speed manual or Smart Auto AMT. A petrol-CNG version is also available with a five-speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the Exter Knight range from Rs 8.14 lakh to Rs 9.61 lakh, depending on the variant and powertrain. It is available in five colours, including Titanium Black, Atlas White and Starry Night. The Knight treatment remains cosmetic, with no changes to the mechanical package or core dimensions.
