Her next event was at Novotel and a recent one was at The Taj Exotica.
Mimi Events offer a full day package for the pet, where pets get their plus ones. It includes a welcome treat for the pet, some toys and a friendly pet walk before the party begins. “We have a ramp walk, fashion show, spot the treats, several food dry and wet, dry grooming offered by Mascot stores, companies like Purina Nestle offering their best treats. Followed by pet games, races, a pet jamming session, spot prizes etc. While the pets are busy with their day, pet parents avail mighty buffets, some unique drinks, hampers and even a foot spa,” smiles Dr Sai.
Dr Sai’s upcoming project is ‘Furzo’ which is an online pet service connecting pets with veterinarians. She and her husband Chaitanya Malkarnekar, owner of Mascot Stores Goa, are determined with a vision to revolutionise veterinary healthcare through digital means, projecting online veterinary software called Furzo. Dr Sai is set to expand this platform pan India, integrating a wide range of services in pet care. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between veterinary care, by making available expert consultations from general and specialist veterinarians. This will make health care solutions more accessible to pets. She also thinks of setting up rehab machinery for pets. “My future vision for Goa, pertaining to my industry would be something on the lines of rehabilitation of pets and pathogical expertise.”
Having shared this, Dr Sai now turns to the right side of her brain, which is creatively active, to announce that she has also launched her very own art and elements brand called ‘Iksa’ whereby she is actively involved in teaching art to young and adults, alike. “Iksa is my art baby founded in early 2024. We focus on art as well as its elements, hold workshops in Margao for kids. And now Iksa is off to conceptualised impression art workshop for adults,” she shares.
“I believe that art should be part of each and every space, and it should touch every life. Art has always been my passion “ a sacred space where emotion meets expression, and soul finds its voice. Art is not just a creative pursuit for me, it’s a deep holistic therapeutic experience that heals, empowers and elevates. It also nurtures mindfulness, cultivates passion and brings clarity in chaos,” she asserts.

Goa has an excellent potential. Focusing on young minds and encouraging women to come up with ideas will mark Goa on the world map. Having women on various panels would empower them. “I would like to request the Goa government to consider a separate panel for start-ups for women entrepreneurs, too,” she appeals.
