Vegetable prices continue to fluctuate

BELAGAVI: Prices of vegetables kept on fluctuating in Belagavi wholesale vegetable market depending on the supplies.

While supplies of tomatoes increased making the staple vegetable cheaper, price of cucumber and other vegetables like leek onion, green peas, have also come down considerably. However, prices of vegetables like capsicum, gavar, beans, rib, gourd, etc, have increased between 25 to 50 per cent. Prices of leafy vegetables too have increased, however, coriander was cheaper compared to last week.
