BELAGAVI
Prices of vegetables in the wholesale vegetable market in Belagavi are steady since last week due to the steady supply of vegetables from the vegetable growing hinterland of Belagavi region.
According to traders, this trend is expected to continue for some more days due to increase in vegetable harvesting by farmers in the hinterland.
While prices of tomato, capsicum, lady’s finger and peas remained steady like last week, prices of vegetables like rib gourd, beans, cucumber, ginger, etc, have marginally come down. The leafy vegetables prices have marginally increased compared to last week.
