Rosary College organises ‘Impressions’26’

PANAJI:

The Department of Business Administration at Rosary Collegeof Commerce and Arts recently orchestrated a two-day National Level ManagementEvent, IMPRESSIONS’26, recently at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.

The event’s theme, “Excelsior – The Ascent Starts Here,”celebrated the spirit of growth, innovation, and progress in today’s fastchanging business world. A total of 11 institutions from Goa, Hubli, andBelagavi participated in the event.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with an address byPrincipal Prof Helic M Barretto, who highlighted the department's commitmenttowards nurturing and developing future professionals spoke about the theme andexplained how it aligned with the larger vision of the IMPRESSIONS’26. This wasfollowed by a keynote address by Chief Guest Bhushan K Savaikar, Director ofHigher Education, Government of Goa, Porvorim. Thereafter, the Guest of Honour,Ambika Dhakhenkar, addressed the gathering in line with the thoughts expressedby the Chief Guest.

Following this, Rev Fr Gabriel Coutinho, Administrator ofthe college, emphasised the importance of creativity and innovation in thebusiness field for young minds.

The valedictory function concluded the event, with the Guestof Honour, Graham Valadares, an alumnus of Rosary College, addressing thegathering and spoke about how students can overcome challenges and emergesuccessful, in keeping with the spirit of the theme Excelsior. Thereafter,Chief Guest Shekar B Naik, Assistant Director of Higher Education, Governmentof Goa, Porvorim, delivered an address. The winners of the various sub-eventswere announced, with K.L.E. Society’s College of Business Administration (BBA),Belagavi emerging as the overall champions of IMPRESSIONS’26. KLE College ofBusiness Administration, Hubli secured the runner-up position.
