The Women Development Cell, in collaboration with theDepartment of Physical Education and Sports of St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim,organised a Women’s Sports Activity Day on September 29 at Sts Philip and JamesChurch Ground. The event brought together female teaching staff, non-teachingstaff and students for an afternoon of sports, enthusiasm and activeparticipation.
The highlight of the programme was the Leg CricketChampionship, which witnessed participants coming together with energy and teamspirit. The sporting activity provided an enjoyable break from their regularacademic and professional routines while encouraging them to remain physicallyactive and confident.
The event saw participation from the women of the college,who embraced the opportunity to step onto the field and showcase their sportingspirit.
