Assure swachchata at Queula

Garbage is a problem not only in the cities but also in the villages. Although the village panchayat of Queula has been provided with a vehicle for collection of garbage, yet we find garbage scattered all over the place. In the vicinity of the Shree Shantadurga temple, one concrete dustbin is found overflowing on most occasions creating unhygienic conditions for travellers and tourists proceeding along this route towards important temples situated in the neighbourhood. One doubts whether garbage from this dustbin is cleared at regular intervals. Although the acting Sarpanch claims that the village of Queula would be made clean and green, sustained efforts in this direction are not made. Let us hope that this VP will arrange regular clearance of garbage at this jurisdiction so that cleanliness is maintained on a permanent basis.
