Crisis in Tamil Nadu

Unprecedented drama unfolding in Tamil Nadu raises serious questions on the conduct of Governor Vidyasagar Rao. What is happening in Tamil Nadu is something country has never seen before. The state had not fully recovered from the shock of Amma's death and now this crisis. What is happening is not in the interest of democracy. The Governor should have been in the state at the hour of crisis in the state and help put an end the problem that has occurred in the State. Instead he is avoiding coming to the state, may be on the behest of the Central government. First in the name of taking legal opinion on the matter he was in Delhi and then in Maharashtra attending a convocation ceremony. What is more important, dealing with crisis in the state or attending a convocation? It would have been in the interest of all if he went to Tamil Nadu and discharged his constitutional duty.
