Our education system will benefit immensely if there is compulsory introduction of a subject in which young minds are allowed to display their proclivity for various creative ideas. It is very essential that students get an opportunity to unleash their creative potential in workshops which encourage new ideas and concepts.
At high school and college levels, students should be given the opportunity to express their intrinsic ideas in physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, commerce, economics, art, architecture, astronomy, astrophysics, medicine, engineering, astrology, etc so that it serves as an indicator as to what field the student is naturally inclined towards.
Learning should entail the freedom of expression of one's views and ideas so that these become indicators of the students area of excellence. Book knowledge is many-a-times not so diverse as free flowing ideas and are mostly meant to impart tunnel vision and narrow avenues while free flowing thoughts increase the diversity of the various contributors to the pool of ideas.
Every individual is given an inherent talent in a particular field and it is this particular talent which should be explored and given opportunities for reference and usage in the various fields of human endeavour.
This way also, the contributions of every individual is documented and thus everyone is given an opportunity to reveal his or her opinions, many of which may be path-breaking. These contributions will also instill a sense of achievement in every individual which is an important aspect in the development of self-esteem and confidence.
