1st Goan beat show hosted in Harrow

LONDON

The first Goan Beat Show was held at Byron hall in Harrow-London on July 27, organised by DreamTeam and supported by the Goan Musical Events (GME).

The outdoor Beat Show organised by GME was planned at Feltham, London but was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. An indoor Beatshow was organised by Kevin Novaes (Neves), President of DreamTeam, supported by Presley Rodrigues of GME in order to avoid disappointment to vast number of ticket holders who had already booked their flights/hotels who had arrived from Germany, France, Ireland and Scotland.

The event at Harrow was organised within a span of two days, with tickets sold at the entrance. The event was houseful.

The Beat Show featured three live bands, ‘7 Notes band’, ‘Injunction’ and ‘24K India’. In addition, there was Goa’s top singers Mark Revlon, Princeton Colaco and Cyrus Berne and drummer Leroy.

Music was also provided by local Goan DJs Sanford and DJ Velfern, while the three MCs, Bunty, Swiston and Amanda, kept the crowd engaged throughout the event.

Around seven food stalls offered a variety of delicious Goan snacks like beef croquettes, Prawn Rissois, Samosas, and chicken lollipops and Goan food like Pork Sorpotel, Xacuti, Vindalho, Cafreal, Sanna and seafood. There was a bar offering cocktails, Mocktails, and other drinks.

Security at the event was provided by 3PLE H Security.
