GOA Vancouver to host Pub Night on Oct 16

As part of its ongoing activities to connect with the Goan community, the Goan Overseas Association (GOA) Vancouver will organise a Pub Night at the Buck & Ear Bar & Grill in Steveston, Richmond, Vancouver BC, on October 16 from 6 pm to 10 pm.

“This Pub Night is organised by GOA Vancouver to spend time with our community and share some great moments laughing, dancing and playing games together to celebrate our Goa spirit,” explains GOA Vancouver President John Braganza.

“We are hosting a mix and mingle event. We invite our community members to come join us and enjoy an evening of music, cheer, laughter or just swing and sway to the great music.”

An added attraction this year will be music provided by a group of Goans, to keep the Goan spirit alive. The band consists of Paul (drums), Ruan (bass guitar), Merwyn (lead guitar), Neville (rhythm guitar), Clifford (keyboard) and Ivo (vocals).

The Pub Night will also include a number of fun-filled activities such as 50/50, Toonie Toss and much more.

Tickets are priced at $20 per person and it includes Burger and homestyle kettle chips plus a choice of beverage (house beer or wine or highball). Burger substitution or add-ons are available at an additional charge and can be requested during the event.
