Goans in Southampton raise funds for Margao institution

LONDON

The Golden Goa Association, Southampton, UK, the flagship volunteer organisation of the Goan Community in Southampton (GGAS), presents a cheque of Rs 1,06,200 in aid of Daddy’s Home Special School at Gogol-Margao 

The Goan association had raised funds amounting to £900 at the 15th Feast of St Francis Xavier organised on November 29, 2025 in Southampton-England under the Presidentship of Sebastian D’Costa (Curtorim).

At a simple ceremony at Daddy’s Home Charitable Trust at Gogol-Margao on Thursday, the cheque was handed to Daddy’s Home Special School Founder and Director Fr Valmiki Dias by Senior Citizen Lodovina Borges (Curtorim) in the presence of GGAS Vice President Maria Assumpta Borges (Curtorim), GGAS Treasurer RJ Bihula Vaz (Fatorda), GGAS Senior Member Alex D’Costa (Curtorim), Cresol Pacheco (Curtorim) and GGAS Founder Member RJ Roque Vaz (Fatorda).

This is the third time that GGAS has raised funds for Daddy’s Home Special School.

The GGAS has expressed its immense gratitude all the GGAS committee members, members, volunteers, sponsors, event attendees and well-wishers.
