Over 200 people attended the annual 2025 Goan Overseas Association (G.O.A) Vancouver Picnic and the 25th anniversary celebration of World Goa Day at the Ryall Park, 920 Ewen Avenue, Queensborough, New Westminster in Vancouver on August 16.

This year’s celebration was blessed with the presence of six priests, G.O.A Spiritual Director Deacon Dileep Athaide, Fr Cannio, Fr Nelson, Fr Jack, Fr Dan, and Fr Claude, whose presence brought blessings and inspiration to the celebration.

The community came together to enjoy authentic Goan cuisine, lively music, dancing, games for all ages, and moments of fellowship that reminded them of the strength and unity of their Goan heritage.

On the occasion, the G.O.A Vancouver also honoured the 25th anniversary of the World Goa Day.
