The Holy Mass with the breaking of the Word of God and special prayers for the sick will be held at the Sanctuary of St Joseph Vaz at Sancoale on April 9.
The first Mass begins at 7 am, followed by the Healing Service before the Most Blessed Sacrament, which begins at 7.45 am.
The second Mass begins at 9 am, after which the Healing Service resumes and ends by 11.30 am. The third Mass will be at 4 pm at the Sanctuary of St Joseph Vaz.
The healing service for the sick is conducted on every second Friday of the month.
On other Fridays of every month (first, third and fourth), Masses are as follows: 7 am, 9 am and 4 pm at the Sanctuary. The sick are prayed over on these Fridays, from 10 am to 12 noon. The exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament is held at the Sanctuary for Silent Adoration on every First Friday of the month, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Childless couples, pregnant mothers and sick children are prayed over on every third Sunday of the month after the 9 am Mass. There are no restrictions to the number of faithful/devotees attending the above listed Services, as sufficient seating arrangements have been made, states a press note by Fr Manuel Dias, Rector at the Sancoale Sanctuary.
