
PANAJI: The PG Department of Tourism Studies (MTTM) students of DCT’s, Srinivassa Sinai Dempo college of Commerce and Economics, in association with Dempo Explorers Yuva Tourism Club which comprised of 33 volunteers under the guidance of Dr Cheryl Venan Dias organised ‘Mill-o-tsav’ 2023 a food festival commemorating the International Year of Millets on Saturday.
The students also designed an infographic on the benefits of millets, and prepared all vegetarian food made of millets.
The objective of the event was to develop leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills and ability to manage a food festival event as part of experiential learning.
