Club Filmatics, in association with the Department of Mass Communication will hold intercollegiate event Filmbuster on February 28 at Don Bosco College Panjim. Speaking to the press, the Filmatics Faculty In Charge and Professor of Mass communication Sonika Lotliker stated that the event will be the first media event especially for media students in Goa. President of the club Devonna Gomes then revealed the exciting lineup of events, including stop motion, fashion shows, dance, and more, with a different twist to it which will be revealed on the day of the event. She also stated that the traditional Mr. and Miss Pageant will explore the journey of filmmaking and creativity. The Principal Dr Cedric Silveira added that Club Filmatics had been organizing events for the students of the college throughout the year, contributing to their growth. Media Coordinator, Mario Pimenta stated that the media played a crucial role in amplifying the voice of the Filmatics Club. Vice President Joel Rodrigues delivered the vote of thanks.
