PANAJI: The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) hosted the Ambassador of Portugal in Goa, Manuela Franco, at its Secretariat to discuss economic cooperation between Goa and Portugal. The meeting included GCCI President Pratima G. Dhond, past presidents Ralph De Sousa and Sandip Bhandare, Women’s Wing Chairperson Sandra Fernandes, members Rene Mendes and Sanjay Amonkar, directors Kiran Ballikar and Ambika Kamat Dhakhenkar, assistant director Melane D. Rodrigues, and Andre Machado from the Portuguese Consulate. Discussions covered visa recommendation letters for GCCI members, direct or charter flights between Goa and Lisbon, the export of generic pharmaceuticals, and potential partnerships between Goan IT companies and the Consulate.
