MARGAO: Sesa FA blanked Futebol Club YFA 5-0 in an exciting divisional league match, at Astro Turf, Fatorda, on Monday, on Monday.
Sesa FA initially seized the lead in the third minute when the YFA goalkeeper deflected Johnson Rana's shot redirecting it to Jorvey Baretto who capitalised on the opportunity with a clinical close-range shot. Subsequently, SFA extended their advantage to 2-0 as Johnson Rana capitalised on a blunder made by the YFA goalkeeper to score from a distance.
After the break, Sesa FA asserted their dominance with a spectacular hat-trick from Johnson Rana, who netted a superb header into the top right corner following an accurate cross from Leo Soram. Shortly after, Sairaj Parwar made it 4-0 in the 55th minute, and Klyne Godinho sealed the victory with a left-footed shot after capitalising on a brilliant setup from Anmesh Majik.
