PANAJI: The PG Department of Tourism Studies (MTTM) students of DCT’s, Srinivassa Sinai Dempo college of Commerce and Economics, in association with Institutions Innovation Council under the guidance of Dr Cheryl Venan Dias organised a self-driven activity My Story - Motivational Talk, with the topic ‘Millet Cultivation as an Agro-Tourism Opportunity for Goa’.
There were 67 students who attended the talk and this concluded the ‘Mill-o-tsav’ 2023 event commemorating the International Year of Millets on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12 pm. The resource persons were Yashwant Gawas, Assistant Agricultural Officer, Zonal Agricultural Office, Tiswadi and Sunetra Talauliker, ex-ICAR Home Scientist, Old Goa, Mini Ribeiro, a noted food columnist and visiting faculty moderated the session.
