PANAJI: The Goa State Committee of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) will hold its 13th Conference on August 16 at Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji. The conference will begin at 9 am after the flag is hoisted by leader Atmaram Gawas. President Prasanna Utgi will move the condolence resolution. The conference will review AITUC’s activities and discuss measures to strengthen the organisation and safeguard workers’ rights. It will deliberate on economic challenges, livelihood concerns and labour law amendments. Office bearers and General Council members will be elected, along with delegates for the national conference in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in November.
