PANAJI: The Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, will organise a regional workshop under the DISHA 2.0 scheme at the University Auditorium of the India International University of Legal Education & Research in South Goa on September 21. The workshop will focus on strengthening access to justice through technology-enabled legal services, legal awareness and pro bono assistance. It will bring together government representatives, Common Service Centres, law institutions and other stakeholders.
The Governor of Goa is expected to attend as Chief Guest, along with the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice and Goa’s PWD, Captain of Ports and Legal Metrology Minister. The programme will showcase reels from the ‘Nyaya Prabodh’ campaign and launch a slogan competition. It will also feature discussions on Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu and other legal empowerment initiatives.
