PANAJI : Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) honoured doctors and MBBS students from Goa and neighbouring areas during a National Doctors’ Day programme held in Panaji on Tuesday. The event recognised the contribution of medical professionals to healthcare and celebrated the academic achievements of former AESL students. Ten alumni, who are either practising doctors or in the final years of their MBBS course, were felicitated. The programme also gave current NEET aspirants and their parents an opportunity to interact with the alumni and learn from their experiences and career journeys. Organisers said the initiative was aimed at recognising the achievements of former students while inspiring aspiring medical professionals. The event also acknowledged the important role played by teachers in guiding students towards successful careers in medicine.
