PANAJI: The Council for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Directorate of Official Language, Government of Goa, will hold a series of workshops to develop technical terminology in Konkani from July 13 to 18 at the Directorate of Art & Culture auditorium in Panaji.
The Geography workshop will run from July 13 to 17, while workshops on Dramatics and Mass Communication/Journalism will be held from July 14 to 18. The Mass Communication/Journalism workshop will be conducted in the review phase.
The workshops aim to create standard technical terminology in Konkani across different fields. Subject experts, Konkani and Sanskrit language experts, linguists and CSTT representatives will participate. Similar workshops for Agriculture, Zoology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science have already been completed.
