PANAJI: The State government has notified a new set of rules under the National Dental Commission, revamped in 2023, to govern the setting up of the State Dental Council, the Register of Dentists and various activities and functions related to the dental profession. The rules, which take immediate effect, also prescribe forms for provisional registration with the Goa State Dental Council, registration of dentists and dental auxiliaries, renewal of registration, and permission to organise continuing professional development (CPD) programmes.
