SANGUEM: The foundation stone for paver block work at the Shri Paikdev Temple premises in Mangal village was laid by social worker Satyavan Gaonkar, who is funding the project personally. The beautification work fulfils a long-pending demand of villagers, who had sought improvements to the temple premises for several years. Gaonkar said the project would make the surroundings cleaner, safer and more convenient for devotees while enhancing the temple’s appearance.
He added that he would continue to undertake social service initiatives and expressed satisfaction at fulfilling a demand that had remained pending for many years. Devasthan President Vishnu Gaonkar, Vitthal Gaonkar, Sainath Velip, former Sarpanch Madhu Velip, Umesh Velip, Rohidas Velip and several villagers attended the ceremony.
