PANAJI: The All India Konkni Parishad (AIKP), the parent body of Konkani-speaking people across the country, has announced that the All India Konkani Sahitya Sammelan will be held in Ernakulam on 22 and 23 November 2025.
The decision was taken at a preliminary meeting held at Shrinivas Residency in Ernakulam, chaired by AIKP working president Chetan Acharya. The meeting discussed the tentative venue, accommodation and other requirements for the successful conduct of the sammelan.
Those present included AIKP vice president P.N. Krishnan, treasurer H.M. Pernal, executive member Anant Agni, advisor Anand Kamath, Sahitya Akademi awardees Melvin Rodrigues and Gokuldas Prabhu, Kerala Konkani Sahitya Akademi member secretary R.S. Bhaskar Navinkumar, along with around 30 eminent Konkani personalities.
